- A vision board is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on a specific life goal.

- A vision board is a representation of your desires and aspirations in life. They motivate and inspire you towards concrete daily action in pursuit of your biggest and most important life goals.
Why do we need a vision board?
- A vision board helps you plan your life and planning gives you focus and direction
I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me and what answer I am to give to this complaint. Then the Lord replied: Write down the vision and make it plain on tablets so that whoever reads it may run with it. Habakkuk 2:1-2
Write them on the door frames of your houses and your gates. Due 11:20
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12-17 (NIV)
- A vision board helps you manage your resources including time.If one of you is planning to build a tower, you sit down first and figure out what it will cost, to see if you have enough money to finish the job. (GNB) Luke 14:28.

Hindrances to our Visions and goals
- Indiscipline
- Peer pressure
- Inordinate relationships
- Drugs
- Comparing yourself
- Unrealistic goals
- Excuses: No electricity, no money, our country, ASUU strike
- Change your mindset, see challenges as an opportunity to explore other ways of achieving your goals.

The difference between success and failure could be ones ability to see beyond challenges and develop a working plan. Vision board are those plans that points us in the right direction as we trust in God daily.
