TAKE OVER AS SOLDIER
Key verse: 1 Samuel 17:32-40; 45-50
A person who serves in the army serves for his government, carries a weapon and risks his life. He is active and loyal, he does not get involved in civilian affairs to prevent distraction. A Christian is a soldier of the cross. He is expected to wear the complete armour and be ready to stand and fight (Eph. 6:10-18). Again, 2 Cor. 10:3-4 says our weapons are not like that of this world. Check the list, are you wearing the complete Armour?
Every Christian must carry his weapon of warfare- word of God, prayer…. And be properly dressed to enter into the enemies’ territory if you must take over your possession, and not be a casualty. Setting the captives free is part of our order. Do you spend time to pray for the unsaved, occultist… and tell them about Jesus? God is depending on you. There is war all around us, with challenges and intimidation from the enemy. God has brought you into this world for such a time as this, such a perfect timing. What are you going to do? Cower along with other people, run from the fight and become a slave of the evil one? Are you a good Soldier? (2 Tim.2:3-4)Take up the shield of faith, fight Goliath like David did and take over the land for the Lord.
PRAYER: Lord, give me boldness to fight in your end time army.
