How to know God's will for your life
Know God's Word — God won't lead you contrary to Scripture.
Pray and listen — Don't just ask God for answers; develop a relationship with Him.
Examine your gifts and passions — Your abilities and burdens can point toward your calling.
Look at opportunities — Pay attention to doors God may be opening or closing.
Seek wise counsel — Talk to mature Christians who know you well.
Check your motives — Ask, “Do I want God's will, or do I just want God to approve my plan?”
Take the next step — God often reveals His will progressively, not all at once.
In short:
Know His Word → Pray → Listen → Seek counsel → Examine your motives → Take the next faithful step.
And don't be afraid of getting it wrong. God is able to redirect someone who genuinely wants to follow Him.
